CHICAGO (Ticker) -- J.P. Dumont had two goals and two assists and the Chicago Blackhawks scored three times in a 4:55 span of the third period for a 6-3 exhibition victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Dumont did most of his damage in the first period, contributing two goals and an assist, as Chicago built a 3-1 lead.

But Andrei Zyuzin scored on the power play three minutes into the second period and offseason acquisition Andreas Johansson tied it 42 seconds into the third.

Reid Simpson broke the deadlock just 82 seconds later, turning and beating Kevin Hodson from close range for his first preseason tally. Wendel Clark added a power-play goal 88 seconds later and Mark Bell capped the scoring with a shorthanded marker at 6:59.

Bill Houlder had the other goal and an assist for the Lightning, who were outshot, 37-22.

Hodson went the distance, while rookies Marc Lamothe and Michel Larocque shared goaltending chores for Chicago.
