PEORIA, Arizona (Ticker) -- Joe Oliver pounded out three hits, including his first homer of the spring, had five RBI and scored two runs, leading the Seattle Mariners to a 16-8 victory over the Chicago Cubs in a Cactus League game. John Mabry went 4-for-5, including a triple, with two RBI and three runs scored, Brian Lesher had three hits, and Jay Buhner went 3-for-4 for the Mariners, who pounded out 23 hits. Seattle starter Jamie Moyer got the win, giving up six hits and three runs, walking four and striking out four in five innings. Chicago starter Micah Bowie gave up Oliver's homer as part of a seven-run second inning and was tabbed for the loss. He was charged with seven earned runs, gave up seven hits, walked one and struck out one in two innings. Eric Young and Tarrick Brock both homered off Seattle reliever Ken Cloude in the Cubs' three-run sixth. Young and Brock both went 2-for-3, and Chris Hatcher was 2-for-4 for Chicago.
