Beesley's buzzing for Spartans

Jack Beesley's late strike secured a shock 2-1 win for Spartans against 10-man Morton in the Scottish Cup.The visitors came close to taking an early lead but for a fine save from Kevin Swain to deny Joe McKee at close range. And McKee squandered another chance shortly before the Ton took the lead on 25 minutes when Andrew Barrowman tucked the ball home following some good work by Mark Russell. But they were pegged back on 71 minutes when Willie Bremner drilled a low finish into the corner. They were handed an added boost eight minutes from time after Jamie McCluskey was given his marching orders having picked up a second yellow card. And the comeback was complete in the final minute of the game as Beesley pounced on Jack Beacher's ball to record a famous win over their League One opponents.
