Nantes 0-0 AS Monaco

Nantes missed out on the opportunity to move into the top four in Ligue 1 when they were held to a goalless draw at home by Monaco. The hosts could easily have been three up inside the first 10 minutes but for some excellent work by Monaco keeper Danijel Subasic.Alejandro Bedoya, Oscar Vizcarrondo and Kolbeinn Sigthorsson all went close early on, the latter bursting through on goal only to be denied by the Serbia keeper - his third stop early on.Sigthorsson went close again after 20 minutes but once again Subasic saved from the Icelandic striker's 18-yard effort.Monaco were struggling to get a foot on the ball but highly-rated youngster Kylian Mbappe Lottin had a rare opportunity but failed to beat Les Canaris keeper Remy Riou. The visitors had to wait until early in the second half for their first real opportunity but Riou stood up to the task well, keeping out Guido Carrillo's stinging volley.Nantes continued to dominate though as Remi Gomis headed wide from six yards out before the hosts had a goal ruled out.Adryan's corner eventually fell to Alejandro Bedoya who acrobatically steered the ball beyond Subasic but the linesman's flag went up to deny the hosts maximum points.ends
