- Leonardo Bittencourt - 31'
Cologne top Bundesliga table after comfortable win against Freiburg
Cologne moved to the top of the Bundesliga on Friday night by extending their unbeaten start to the season with a comfortable 3-0 win over Freiburg.
Anthony Modeste headed the Goats in front from five yards out in the 29th minute before Leonardo Bittencourt turned in Yuya Osako's cross from close range to make it two within a further 60 seconds.
Another Modeste header just before half-time put the result beyond doubt, with Freiburg limiting the damage in the second half, but never looking like mounting a comeback.
The win takes Cologne on to seven points from their first three games of the season, one more than Bayern Munich, who face Ingolstadt on Saturday.
