Wofford beats Bob Jones 96-65 behind Magee's 23 points

SPARTANBURG, S.C. -- Fletcher Magee scored 23 points with six 3-pointers, Matthew Pegram scored a career-high 18 points, and Wofford never trailed in beating Bob Jones University 96-65 in Saturday's Maui on the Mainland tournament matchup.

Nathan Hoover had 18 points with five assists and hit four of Wofford's 14 of 30 3-pointers. Cameron Jackson had 16 points and Keve Aluma grabbed eight rebounds for the Terriers (2-2), who outrebounded the Bruins 38-24.

Magee's 3-pointer capped Wofford's opening 21-2 run, and Pegram's layup gave the Terriers a 48-28 halftime lead on 52 percent shooting from the floor. Pegram scored 13 in the half.

Storm Murphy's 3 pointer put the Terriers up 89-63 with 2:18 left and Wofford finished scoring seven unanswered points.

Dustin Killough scored 21 points and Nate Ellenwood added 17 for Bob Jones, which competes in Division II of the National Christian College Athletic Association.
