Presbyterian forward DeSean Murray will transfer. "I just wanted to go bigger and reach my full potential," Murray told ESPN. The 6-foot-5 sophomore was named first-team all-Big South after averaging 20.2 points and 7.4 rebounds.

Winthrop headed to Big South semis

Thanks to 19 points and seven rebounds from Xavier Cooks, the Eagles put away Presbyterian 67-53 and inch closer to the Big South championship. No. 2 Winthrop will face either No. 3 Coastal Carolina or No. 6 Gardner-Webb on Saturday. Box score
