Tom Brady, in his weekly interview on sports radio WEEI, explained why he briefly went down after throwing a TD pass to Rob Gronkowski, which led to a brief stoppage in play. Brady said his knee brace "grabbed" and "kind of dug into the wrong spot" before adding that he has "zero concern" going forward.

Patriots defensive snaps: The lone snap not played by Devin McCourty was the Hail Mary, which was a coaching decision that backfired. Also, a notable reduction for Jason McCourty (31 of 48), as J.C. Jackson (38) took his spot as the No. 2 CB option in the base and 3-safety nickel package. The D played more base in second half to become more stout vs. run.

Patriots offensive snaps: Rob Gronkowski (78 of 82) was productive coming off a tough game vs. Vikings, with his additional snap on D a big talking point afterwards. Overall, an even mix between 3-WR and 2-back approach.

Seth Walder ESPN Analytics

The Patriots recorded their lowest pass block win rate (36%) of the season in their loss to the Dolphins. Entering today New England averaged a team PBWR of 60%. PBWR is an ESPN metric using NFL Next Gen Stats.
