SCOTTSDALE, Arizona (Ticker) -- Calvin Murray, who tore apart Triple-A pitching last season, had a two-run double in the sixth inning to lead the San Francisco Giants to a 3-2 Cactus League triumph over the Chicago White Sox.

Murray hit .334 at Fresno in 1999 and is trying to earn a job in the Giants' outfield. Felipe Crespo went 2-for-2 with a double for San Francisco, which collected 11 hits.

Kirk Rueter started for San Francisco and was solid in his first spring outing, retiring all but one batter he faced. Ryan Jensen, a 24-year-old righthander, added two scoreless inning in relief.

Cal Eldred allowed three hits over three scoreless innings in his bid to win a spot in the White Sox rotation. Aaron Myette allowed Murray's double and took the loss.
