Jessup, Williams lift Boise St. past Air Force 74-57

BOISE, Idaho -- Justinian Jessup scored 18 points, including the Broncos' first 4-point play of the season, and Boise State beat Air Force 74-57 on Tuesday night to win its 11th consecutive home game.

Jessup was fouled making a 3-pointer and he hit the free throw, giving Boise State a 57-42 lead with 6:52 to play.

RJ Williams scored 16 points and grabbed 12 rebounds and Derrick Alston added 15 points with seven boards for Boise State (17-9, 8-5 Mountain West Conference), which led wire-to-wire and pulled away on a 27-8 run late in the second half.

Lavelle Scottie scored 16 points for the Falcons (9-16, 3-10), who have lost seven straight. Ryan Swan scored nine points and A.J. Walker added six rebounds.

The Broncos evened the season series against the Falcons with the win. Air Force defeated Boise State 85-78 on January 15. Boise State (17-9, 9-5) plays San Diego State at home on Sunday. Air Force takes on San Jose State at home on Saturday.
