Surratt scores 20 to propel South Carolina Upstate past Coker 96-76

SPARTANBURG, S.C. -- — Jordyn Surratt scored 20 points as South Carolina Upstate beat Coker 96-76 on Saturday night.

Surratt added seven rebounds for the Spartans (5-8). Nick Alves added 18 points while shooting 7 for 10, including 2 for 3 from beyond the arc, and they also had five rebounds. Trae Broadnax was 6 of 11 shooting, including 1 for 3 from 3-point range, and went 3 for 4 from the line to finish with 16 points.

The Cobras were led by Mahmoud Bangura, who recorded 20 points. Demar Anderson added nine points for Coker. In addition, Glenn Bynum finished with eight points.
