Oregon State head coach Craig Robinson announced the signing of shooting guard Malcolm Duvivier (Toronto/St. Thomas Aquinas) on Thursday.
The 6-foot-2 Duvivier was originally expected to be recruited in the 2014 class.
"Our recruitment of Malcolm was initially for the 2014 class, but when a scholarship came open for 2013, we both reevaluated our strategies and decided that 2013 worked for both our needs," Robinson said. "We had Malcolm and his mom, Jennifer, in for a visit and we were fortunate enough to sign him. He and (signee) Hallice Cooke have already been in contact and are very excited about playing together."
Cooke (Jersey City, N.J./St. Anthony's) and Duvivier join C Cheikh N'diaye (San Diego/Army & Navy) in the Beavers' 2013 class.
