Fresno State lands Okla. guard

Edmond, Okla. shooting guard Aaron Anderson (Santa Fe H.S.) ended his recruitment last Friday with a verbal pledge to Fresno State, The Oklahoman reported this weekend.

Anderson, the first recruit for the Bulldogs in 2012, also held offers from Oral Roberts and Nevada.

"I don't know if there was one thing that sold him on Fresnon State," Santa Fe coach Shawn Schenk told the paper. "Aaron wanted to be at a place that was competitive, and he really liked what they're doing there in a really good conference."

Anderson averaged 8.4 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.9 assists as a junior last season.
