UA jersey tour: ATH Lamar Jackson

WATCH: Lamar Jackson UA jersey presentation

Thursday was the day that the Under Armour All-America Game jersey tour presented by American Family Insurance stopped by Elk Grove (Calif.) Franklin High School and ESPN 300 athlete Lamar Jackson could finally try on his game jersey. Perhaps no player on the roster was looking forward to their day more, as it marks another milestone for Jackson.

"I've been watching this game since guys like Julio Jones were in it," Jackson said. "That's why it's always been my dream to play in it. Anybody who committed at that game was one of the best players in the country."

That's why Jackson has his sights set on making a verbal commitment during this year's game, though the nation's No. 137 prospect and No. 7 athlete has the rest of his recruiting process to get through first. Jackson took an official visit to Arizona last weekend and will visit Arizona State this weekend. Visits to Michigan and Oklahoma are on tap for October, while he is still undecided as to what program will host his fifth visit.

Jackson released a top 10 list at the end of July, and Arizona State, Cal, Michigan, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Oregon, UCLA, USC, Utah and Washington made the cut. Jackson said he hopes to trim that to a final five following his visits, though it likely won't contain all five of the schools that received his official visits. UCLA and USC are both strong contenders for Jackson, likely to make his final group but unlikely to receive official visits.

As for what he is looking for during those trips, Jackson said, "I want to see everything from the facilities to the coaching staff and feel the vibe and see if I can envision myself there."
