Anthony Jones (Houston/North Forest), a 5-foot-8, 160-pound running back, pledged to sign with his hometown Cougars, multiple sources report.

Jones is the fifth 2014 prospect to announce for Houston following Saturday's junior day. Quarterback Bear Fenimore (Austin, Texas/Westwood) and a trio of wide receivers, Steven Dunbar (Metairie, La./Archbishop Rummel), Bobby Hartzog (Houston/Westside) and Latrell Martin (Pflugerville, Texas/Hendrickson), also jumped on board.

The Cougars have seven commitments for 2014.
