Hall jumps on NU offer; joins brother

The summer camp season is when you see schools send out several new offers. Some of those offers turn into immediate commitments. Such is the case with athlete Nathan Hall (Sylvania, Ohio/Southview).

Hall landed an offer from Northwestern over the weekend. He mulled the offer for less than 24 hours before pledging to the Wildcats.

“I really like the coaching staff,” Hall said. “The academics are second to none, great campus. I really like what the staff has done with the program in the past few years.

The 6-foot-3, 200-pound Hall will likely play linebacker for the Wildcats, who now have 12 commitments in their 2014 class.

Hall’s older brother Jimmy Hall is a member of the Wildcats’ football team.

The Wildcats have the 19th-best recruiting class in the nation, and this 2014 class is already regarded as the best in Northwestern history.
