Ivan Thomas (Lawton, Okla./Lawton), a three-star defensive tackle, committed to sign with Texas Tech on Thursday, according to multiple reports.

Kansas State also extended a scholarship offer to the 6-foot-1, 268-pound prospect. Iowa State and Oklahoma expressed interest.

The Red Raiders now have 16 pledges for 2014. Thomas is just Texas Tech's third verbal on defense.
