Uncommitted prospects:
Team Mach Speed has a solid collection of top uncommitted prospects, including No. 7 defensive tackle Derrick Brown of Lanier (Sugar Hill, Georgia) High and No. 3 receiver Devin Duvernay of Sachse (Texas) High. Many expect Brown to end up at Georgia, but Alabama, Auburn and Tennessee are also in hot pursuit. Duvernay is one of the best overall players in the Lone Star State, and he represents one of the biggest battles between longtime rivals Texas and Texas A&M. There’s also a solid collection of 2017 prospects, including coveted linebacker Markail Benton of Central (Phenix City, Alabama) High. Benton is considered one of the best linebackers regardless of class, and his recruitment sets up to be a classic Alabama-Auburn recruiting battle.
RB Tre Bryant
RB Devin White
WR Donovan Peoples-Jones (2017)
WR Devin Duvernay
OL Brett Heggie
DE Brian Burns
DT Derrick Brown
LB Markail Benton (2017)
Committed prospects:
Mach Speed should probably be better known as team Florida State. The Seminoles have seven commitments on the squad, and many eyes will be on Malik Henry, who has been dubbed the next big quarterback in Tallahassee. Penn State is also well represented with three pledges on Mach Speed.
Florida State: QB Malik Henry, TE Isaac Nauta, OL Baveon Johnson, DE Janarius Robinson, CB Levonta Taylor, CB Kyle Meyers, S Jamel Cook
Penn State: QB Jake Zembiec, RB Miles Sanders, CB Lavert Hill
Tennessee: QB Jarrett Guarantano, CB Marquill Osborne
Notre Dame: OL Tommy Kraemer
Minnesota: LB Carter Coughlin
