Despite the loss to Ohio State on Saturday, Rutgers had an excellent recruiting weekend by bringing in a ton of top targets from the 2016 and 2017 classes.
Quarterback commit Anthony Russo made the trip to try to recruit for his future team, and he had plenty of opportunity to do so with so many prospects on hand.

ESPN Junior 300 defensive lineman Dalyn Wade-Perry made the trip and like many big men would, Wade-Perry snapped a picture of the food on the visit.

Having a night game against a big opponent always creates a good pregame atmosphere, which helped draw in a number of recruits for the visit.

Maryland also suffered a loss at home this past weekend, but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t a successful weekend for interim coach Mike Locksley.
The Terps had their biggest commit on campus in ESPN 300 quarterback Dwayne Haskins Jr. The No. 2-ranked signal caller got to meet former Maryland quarterback Boomer Esiason before the game.

Haskins also tweeted that he met up with Locksley after the game. He wasn’t the only big prospect in attendance, though, as ESPN 300 wide receiver Trevon Diggs tweeted a picture from his seats.

Diggs is a major target for Haskins, so that was a big visit for both prospects.
It wasn’t a great day for the home team in the Big Ten as four of the five came away with losses, and that included Illinois.
The Illini did get to host a few prospects for the game against Wisconsin, though, and the staff extended an offer to 2018 prospect Kalon Gervin on his visit.
Tremendously blessed to receive my 3rd offer from the university of Illinois!🔷🔶

The Spartans were the lone home team in the conference to win this past weekend, as the team pulled out a victory against Indiana.
ESPN Jr. 300 receiver commit Hunter Rison was on hand for the win and even got a chance to meet Michigan State basketball coach Tom Izzo on the field.

In-state quarterback prospect Sam Johnson, a 2019 recruit, gave a video look at the team entering the field -- and what it’s like to see it from a prospect’s point of view.
