          Best of the college football recruiting visits: Pac-12

          Pac-12 home teams grabbed a little bit of momentum this week, as Stanford, UCLA and USC all posted important wins in front of recruits. Oregon State was on the other side of the coin, as the Beavers dropped a close game but hope to turn things around in part by eventually grabbing commitments from an impressive list of visitors. Here is a look at a few of the weekend visits in the Pac-12 through the eyes of recruits on social media.

          USC absolutely needed a win against Utah to begin putting its season back together after things fell apart quickly following a home loss to Washington two weeks ago. While USC is one of several Pac-12 programs that doesn't look to bring in official visitors during the season, it's just as important at this point for the Trojans to continue impressing the recruits already committed to them. Offensive lineman Nathan Smith was in attendance and his take on the game was likely shared by many of those commits.

          Across town, UCLA posted a decisive win against Cal on Thursday night in front of 2017 defensive end Javaris Steward. The former Texas prep is now attending high school in Southern California and is now a prime recruiting target for the Bruins and Trojans. After picking up a USC offer, Steward committed to and then decommitted from USC last week. Steward was at UCLA on Thursday and now holds an offer from the Bruins as well.

          Stanford is the hottest Pac-12 program right now and the Cardinal had an opportunity to make an impression on 2017 tight end prospect Sire Woods over the weekend.

          No Pac-12 program hosted a more impressive group of official visitors than Oregon State, which had ESPN 300 running back Chase Lucas on hand as part of the group. Lucas was joined by teammate and Oregon State quarterback commit Mason Moran.

          The Beavers also had a chance to make an impact on 2018 in-state prospect Chase Cota, who could be one of the more highly recruited wide receivers prospects in the region for his year.
