          Best of the college football recruiting visits: Pac-12

          That sound you heard Saturday was the Pac-12's chances of putting a team in the College Football Playoff crashing down. But on the plus side for the future, the sound also might have been recruits enjoying themselves at a handful of games. From Arizona's double overtime win against Utah, to Stanford and UCLA battling Oregon and Washington State until the games' final plays, prospects were treated to a fantastic slate of games across the Pac-12. Here is a look at some of the best of the visits through the eyes of prospects on social media:

          Stanford had an impressive assortment of recruits on hand, from both the 2016 and 2017 classes. Defensive tackle commit Mike Williams was on hand, as the Cardinal look to hold on to his commitment over a push from the hometown Texas teams, especially the Longhorns.

          Some of Stanford's top 2017 targets were in attendance as well, including ESPN Junior 300 quarterback Davis Mills and the top prospect in the state of California, cornerback Darnay Holmes.

          The state of Arizona saw two exciting games, in the Sun Devils' comeback win against the Washington Huskies, and Arizona coming out on top against Utah.

          Arizona State has been on a recruiting roll in state, grabbing commitment from N'Keal Harry and Chase Lucas in the past few weeks. The third member of what would make up the Sun Devils' best in-state recruiting effort in years is ESPN 300 cornerback Byron Murphy, who was in Tempe.

          The Huskies had a fan in attendance as well, as quarterback commit Daniel Bridge-Gadd took in the game.

          Arizona had several important visitors on hand for the Wildcats' biggest win of the season. One of the biggest was junior college lineman Jonathan Kongbo, who has been heating up on the recruiting trail and recently added an offer from rival Arizona State.

          Things didn't go the way UCLA hoped in the Bruins' home loss to Washington State. But UCLA fans packed the Rose Bowl early on and that made an impression on top target Brandon Burton, an ESPN 300 safety -- an important prospect both for his talent as well as the fact that he attends Gardena (California) Serra high school, which has sent a majority of its top recruits in recent years across town to USC.

          The Bruins also had a few 2018 targets on hand, including quarterback Matt Corral and James Townsend. Corral could develop into a fun recruiting battle down the line, as UCLA and USC both extended very early offers.
