Who doesn’t like birthday cake? Linebacker recruit Jonathan Jones certainly does, and he got a special birthday cake sent to him digitally by a few Michigan coaches on Wednesday.

Jim Harbaugh, defensive coordinator D.J. Durkin and recruiting coordinator Chris Partridge posed for a picture with a personalized birthday cake that read “Happy 18th Birthday Jonathan Jones.”

This isn’t the first time Harbaugh has gotten creative with his recruiting efforts with this class. Defensive lineman Boss Tagaloa saw his prom proposal recreated by Harbaugh and reworded with a recruiting pitch.

Jones may not be getting any of the cake in the picture, but the effort by Harbaugh certainly resonated certainly resonated on social media, and apparently with Jones himself.
