Best of the college football recruiting visits: SEC

This was a huge weekend of college football in the SEC, and several top prospects made their way to the rivalry games that took place around the conference. While some visitors posted photos of their experience, others tweeted videos. Here’s a closer look at the best of the SEC weekend visits:

Despite a disappointing 27-2 loss to rival Florida State on Saturday, the Gators hosted several key visitors. Among the visitors was Florida running back commit Mark Thompson, who was on his official visit to Gainesville. Thompson posted several photos of his trip including a picture of himself along with Florida head coach Jim McElwain.

Thompson also posted a photo of himself along with other recruits such as ESPN 300 quarterback Dwayne Haskins Jr., who was also on an official visit.

Three-star outside linebacker Josh Uche, a former Miami commit, was in attendance and posted a photo of himself on the field before the game.

Much like Florida, Auburn also suffered a disappointing loss to its biggest rival, Alabama, on Saturday. Several big-time recruits were in attendance such as 2018 offensive tackle prospect Tank Jenkins. The 6-3, 300-pound lineman posted a video of former Auburn quarterback Cam Newton during the Tiger walk.

Another big-time 2018 offensive line prospect, Will Lawrence, posted a picture of himself on the field before the Iron Bowl.

Three-star wide receiver Donald Stewart also posted a video from the Tiger walk prior to the game.

Arkansas hosted a few important visitors for its big win over Missouri on Friday. Two of the top junior college offensive linemen, Garrett Bolles and Dwayne Wallace, were among the Razorback visitors. The two posed for a photo during their trip.

The 13th-ranked player in the ESPN 300, Derrick Brown, visited Mississippi State this weekend. Brown posed for a photo in the Mississippi State locker room before the game.

Brown posted a photo from the game as well.

The 96th-ranked player in the ESPN Junior 300, Justin Foster, posted a photo from his seat at the Clemson/South Carolina game. Foster was on an unofficial visit to South Carolina.
