Chevy GameBreaker / League Manager Sweepstakes
General. No Purchase Necessary. Open only to 2004 League Manager ("LM") participants, who are U.S. residents, 18 years or older, who have purchased and drafted their League(s) by September 9, 2004, 9 PM, eastern time. Employees of ESPN Internet Ventures ("EIV") and related companies, and the immediate families and persons residing in the households of each are ineligible. Void where prohibited.
How It Works. All LM participants are automatically entered each week. Each Tuesday during the promotion period, the ESPN anchors will select the GameBreaker(s) from the previous weekend's football games. If a LM participant has the GameBreaker on his/her roster, he/she will be automatically entered into a random drawing from among all LM participants who have that week's GameBreaker on his/her roster. The grand prize winner will be determined at the end of the promotion in a random drawing from among all weekly prize winners.
Prizes. Ten (10) Weekly Prizes (10 awarded each week of the promotion) - A Chevy GameBreaker T-shirt ($15 ea.); one (1) Grand Prize - A Home Entertainment System ($2,000 ea.). No prize substitution; however EIV may substitute a prize of equal or lesser value in its discretion. All costs (including taxes) related to prize are the winner's responsibility. Unclaimed prizes will not be awarded. THE PRIZE IS AWARDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED.
Rules. By participating, entrants agree to (a) abide by these rules and EIV's decisions, which shall be binding and final, (b) release, discharge and hold harmless EIV, its parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries from any and all liability, claims, personal injury, death or damages arising out of participation or in connection with the prize use.
Release. As a condition of receiving a prize, potential winner and guest may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and a Liability Release, within ten (10) days of the date stated on the prize notice.
Minors. If guest is less than the age of majority in his/her state of residence, a separate permission from parent or guardian must also be obtained.
Alternates. EIV may award the prize to an alternate if the selected winner does not respond within two (2) days of the date notice is emailed.
Disqualification. EIV reserves the right to disqualify from participation any individual in its reasonable opinion, including without limitation for violating these rules or tampering with the promotion.
Valid Entry Required. EIV is not responsible for late, lost, illegible, inaccurate or incomplete entries.
Termination. If, for any reason, the promotion cannot be conducted as planned EIV reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend it.
Limitation on Liability. IN NO EVENT WILL EIV OR ITS RESPECTIVE PARENT, AFFILIATE, SUBSIDIARY AND RELATED COMPANIES, THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES or AGENTS, BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR LOSSES OF ANY KIND, ARISING OUT OF USE OF THE PRIZE.
