After Ole Miss wide receiver D.K. Metcalf put up 27 reps of 225 pounds on the bench press at the NFL combine earlier today, Arizona State's N'Keal Harry matched him. The 27 reps are tied for the most by a receiver at the combine since 2006. ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr. has Metcalf ranked as his No. 2 WR in the 2019 draft, while Harry ranks No. 7.

Source: Michigan has hired Arizona State defensive line coach Shaun Nua for the same position. Several reports surfaced Wednesday about Nua but the agreement wasn't finalized until earlier today. Nua spent one year at ASU after six as Navy's defensive line coach. The former BYU defensive lineman and coach played four seasons in the NFL. He replaces Greg Mattison with the Wolverines.
Iowa held on to defeat Mississippi State, and Kentucky capped its best year since 1977 with a win over Penn State.
Bowl season kicks off today with six games, with Fresno State's prolific QB Marcus McMaryion defeating Herm Edwards' Arizona State Sun Devils early on.

Arizona State landed a commitment from ESPN 300 quarterback Jayden Daniels on Thursday. Daniels is the No. 109 ranked prospect in the 2019 class and chose the Sun Devils over Cal, UCLA and Utah.
