United in shock move for Suarez?
No, it's not April 1. Manchester United are being linked with a move to sign Luis Suarez from Barcelona, according to reports from Diario Gol (via the Manchester Evening News).
The former Liverpool forward could leave Barcelona this summer, according to reports, and the Catalan club are said to be already drawing up a list of potential replacements.
Suarez has netted just one goal in his past eight matches for Barca and just once in his past 17 European matches, and his future at the club is said to be unclear ... unless his scoring record changes.
United are believed to have "made contact" with Barca in case he becomes available at the end of the season.

23.20 GMT: Are Alexandre Lacazette's days at Arsenal numbered?
Football.London claims the Frenchman could be expendable this summer, as Arsenal try to free up wages ahead of the next stage of their makeover.
In addition to out-of-favour Mesut Ozil, Lacazette, who cost a then club-record £57 million, could be one of the casualties of this approach at the Emirates. The 27-year-old has 12 goals in 33 appearances over all competitions this season but with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang also in the fold, at times he can seem a bit redundant.
Arsenal need to free up money to make some signings this summer with Ever Banega, Nicolas Pepe and Christopher Nkunku linked, and Lacazette could be one of the higher profile players to go.
22.58 GMT: Aberdeen have signed teenage sensation Lewis Ferguson to a new deal that will keep the midfielder at the club through 2024.
The 19-year-old Scot has become a key player under manager Derek McInnes, notching seven goals and six assists for the Reds.
22.09 GMT: Arsenal to sell Matteo Guendouzi to PSG for £60 million?
Arsenal manager Unai Emery dismissed those rumours following his side's 3-0 win over BATE Borisov in the Europa League by saying
"I don't want this."
"His development is like we want. He has a big ambition, big quality. Sometimes we need more quality with him and sometimes we need for him to be more stronger in midfield.
"But his development with us is very important and he's playing with big consistency and I think he is improving a lot. His quality is very impressive for us."
The 19-year-old Frenchman only arrived at the Emirates this summer but has been thrown right into the deep end, the youngster having already made 34 appearances for the Gunners. Guendouzi is a talent and it will be interesting to see if Arsenal show patience with the youngster or cash in quickly on him if one of Europe's giants come calling.
21.40 GMT: It is no secret that Adrien Rabiot's relationship with PSG has broken down, seemingly beyond repair. The latest twist to Rabiot's transfer tale comes Thursday, with the 23-year-old firing his agent who also happens to be... his mother!
Sport claims the French international has sacked his mom, after she stood in the way of his move to Barcelona in January. Barcelona have said that Rabiot must now come to them if he is still interested in moving to the Camp Nou and firing his agent and signing a new one could be the first step in that process.
It is never boring when Rabiot is involved and it remains to be seen where the talented youngster's future lies.
21.00 GMT: Wolves have been a welcome addition to the Premier League in 2018-19 and they don't look content to rest on their laurels.
The latest player they are being linked with is 22-year-old Huddersfield Town winger Ramadan Sobhi. The former Stoke man has yet to really fire in the Premier League but is currently thriving while on loan in his native Egypt with Al-Ahly.
Sobhi's loan with Al-Ahly ends in the summer and the Daily Mail reports that Wolves are a team that is interested in the Egyptian's talent and potential.
Sobhi is clearly an attacking talent and would seem to be a natural fit with the way Wolves play football down the wings.
20.22 GMT: Fulham, who are seven points adrift from safety, face a crucial couple of weeks beginning on Friday vs. West Ham.
The club has received one bit of positive news though, as goalkeeper Sergio Rico, on loan from Sevilla, has hinted he would like to stay at the club on a permanent basis.
Speaking to Sky Sports News, the Spaniard said: "I have to come back to Seville but I would like to come here [England] next season because I am very happy here.
"I like the Premier League and I enjoy it a lot here in London, I am so happy. I don't know the future now but I would like to come here again."
If Rico is to stay, Fulham would likely have to stay in the top flight and that right now looks a bit of a longshot...
19.12 GMT: -- DONE DEAL: Zenit St Petersburg have loaned out defender Miha Mevlja to fellow Russian side FC Rostov.
The 28-year-old defender is a Slovenia international and rejoins Rostov after playing the 2016-17 season for them.
18.20 GMT: Still searching for a natural centre-forward and focal point for its attack, Everton are being linked with a Premier League rival's frontman.
That player is none other than current Newcastle striker Salomon Rondon. According to Sportnation.bet, the Toffees are 3/1 favourites to sign the Venezuelan, who is currently on loan at St James Park from parent club West Brom.
Rondon, who has six goals this season for Newcastle, will reportedly cost around £16 million and Newcastle's tight pockets of late and uncertain future in the top flight could lead to Rondon finding a new permanent home.
Cenk Tosun has been a real disappointment at Goodison Park thus far and the physical Rondon, is the prototype back-to-goal striker Everton have lacked in recent seasons.
17.32 GMT: Championship side Sheffield United has done some important housekeeping on Thursday, inking topscorer Billy Sharp and left-back Enda Stevens to new long-term contracts.

The 33-year-old Sharp, who has scored 23 goals in 32 appearances this campaign has signed with the Blades through 2021, while Stevens, 28, a Republic of Ireland international, has signed with the club through 2022.
Sheffield United currently sit second in the English Championship, just two points behind leaders Norwich and are seriously eyeing a return to the Premier League for the first time since 2006-07.
16.51 GMT: A report in La Repubblica suggests Maurizio Sarri has been offered the Roma job at the end of the season.
The article claims he met with Roma director Franco Baldini for a meal where he was offered the opportunity to replace Eusebio Di Francesco as manager at the end of the campaign.
15.50 GMT: PSG have confirmed that Lassana Diarra is no longer under contract -- with the former France international announcing his retirement from the game just hours later.
ESPN FC's PSG correspondent Jonathan Johnson revealed the news via sources on Wednesday and the Ligue 1 giants made the news official less than 24 hours later.
Johnson cited Diarra's chronic knee problems as the reason for his premature exit. Diarra is focusing on his energy drink brand Heroic.
14.51 GMT: Juventus director Fabio Paratici met with Nicolo Zaniolo's agent, Claudio Vigorelli while in Madrid for the Champions League clash with Atletico, according to a report in Tuttosport.
Vigorelli was reportedly pictured leaving the same hotel Juve negotiated a deal for Cristiano Ronaldo following last season's quarterfinal clash with Real Madrid.
The article adds that, as well as Roma's 19-yeat-old Italy sensation, the Bianconeri are also interested in two other future Azzurri stars in Federico Chiesa, 21 and Sandro Tonali, 18.
13.55 GMT: Liverpool and Chelsea are interested in signing the son of former Parma and Juventus defender Lilian Thuram, according to the Daily Mail.
Khephren Thuram, 17, is part of Monaco's academy, but has yet to sign a professional contract with the club and recently scored in a 3-1 UEFA Youth Cup defeat to Chelsea.
World Cup winner Thuram has another son playing in Ligue 1 in Guingamp forward Marcus, 21.
12.49 GMT: Did you really think rumours of Adrien Rabiot to Barcelona had gone away?
Catalan-based Sport are reporting that Barca would only re-open talks with the French midfielder if he came to them.

11.51 GMT: Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly, who is a target for Manchester United, would never leave the club for rivals Juventus, his agent has said.
"He's very close to Napoli, the club and above all to the city," Bruno Satin told Radio Kiss Kiss. "I don't think he would ever betray them to go to Juventus, but let's not forget that they are professional players, so if you have the chance to play on important stages, you listen, even if I repeat he is very close to Napoli."
10.52 GMT: It is being reported in The Sun that PSG have joined the race to sign Chelsea's Callum Hudson-Odoi.
The article adds that the 18-year-old is unhappy at not being brought on during the 2-0 defeat to Manchester United in the FA Cup.
09.50 GMT: Liverpool's Marko Grujic, who is on loan at Hertha Berlin, has told ESPN FC he is determined to become a success at Liverpool, but is enjoying his time in the German capital.
"If I keep performing like I do now, then there are more chances to come back to Liverpool for another season," Grujic said. "I'll return with more experience and better abilities.
"It depends on what the clubs will decide at the end of the season. If Liverpool decide for me the best deal is to go on loan for another season, then I would like to come back to Berlin. I already know the players and staff and I don't need any extra time to adapt to the league or surroundings. It depends -- it's too early to say what the next season will hold for me."

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Barca have given Inter Milan the green light over a €40 million move for Ivan Rakitic. However, that doesn't mean it will happen.
The report goes on to add that the Nerazzurri are now waiting on wages, the player's desire and the will of his wife.
08.00 GMT: It is being reported in Record that Barcelona are monitoring Portuguese forward Rafael Leao.
According to the Portuguese sports daily, Barca scouts not only attended Saturday's league game between Lille and Montpellier to watch Lille striker Nicolas Pepe but to also monitor Leao.
The 19-year-old has enjoyed a strong start to life at Lille, scoring seven goals and setting up one more in 15 league appearances since joining the Ligue 1 club as a free agent after terminating his contract with Sporting Lisbon in the summer. Leao is tied to Lille until June 2023.
Verratti to sign extension at PSG
Europe's top clubs eager to land Marco Verratti this summer will be disappointed by rumours suggesting that the Italian is set to extend his contract at Paris Saint-Germain.
ParisTeam (via the Sun) are reporting that Verratti is close to agreeing on a new contract despite interest from, among others, Manchester United. United have recently been linked with Gareth Bale, Jadon Sancho and Joao Felix, among others, but Verratti has been a longtime target for the club.
Verratti was one of the star performers as PSG ran out 2-0 winners at Old Trafford last week, and his new deal is said to be for a whopping six years.
Bale to be used as bait?
Spanish giants Real Madrid are considering offloading Gareth Bale and using the Welshman to land either Chelsea's Eden Hazard or Tottenham's Christian Eriksen.
Bale has scored just two goals in his past seven appearances for Real and continues to suffer from injury problems, leaving club officials disappointed by his failure to fill the void left behind by Cristiano Ronaldo.
Bale was quoted this week as saying he is happy in the Spanish capital, but Marca (via the Daily Mail) are reporting that the 29-year-old could leave in the summer, particularly given the form of 18-year-old Vinicius Junior, who has crept above Bale in the club's pecking order.
Bale's contract runs until 2022, but noise from inside the club suggests that he might not see out the deal.
Chelsea reach out about Icardi
Chelsea have made contact with Mauro Icardi's wife and agent, Wanda Nara, Sport Mediaset reported. The Blues are keen to add the wantaway Inter Milan striker to the squad this summer amid rumours that Icardi, stripped of the Inter captaincy last week, is set to leave the San Siro at the end of the season.
Any official bid from Chelsea would no doubt depend on not only the future of boss Maurizio Sarri, who has this week come under increasing pressure following five defeats in 10 matches, but also whether Chelsea manage to secure Champions League football next season.
Icardi has missed recent matches and hasn't been included in the squad for this week's Europa League clash with Rapid Vienna, and now Chelsea are looking to battle with Real Madrid, Juventus and Napoli for his signature.
Yesterday, AS reported that Inter president Steven Zhang said there was "no chance" that he would sell Icardi to Juventus. That he didn't rule out selling Icardi to anyone else suggests that a move this summer is likely.
