1'Bath and England lock Dave Attwood has returned from injury and starts against Gloucester on Friday evening. Attwood has been out of action since Bath's 33-18 win over London Irish and was previously rated as a doubt for the autumn Tests. But he was retained in England's squad for the November internationals and makes his comeback for Bath on Friday. He starts alongside Anthony Watson and Rob Webber who have also been out of action since September. In the centres, Kyle Eastmond and Jonathan Joseph line-up while George Ford is at fly-half. For Gloucester, they make several changes to the side that lost to Munster on Sunday. Only six players are retained in the starting line up. The front-row of Dan Murphy, Darren Dawidiuk and Rupert Harden stays the same while Jonny May, Ryan Mills and Mike Tindall keep their spots in the backs. Freddie Burns and Matt Kvesic were released from England training camp on Wednesday and are named at fly-half and openside flanker respectively. James Simpson-Daniel will make a record 183rd Premiership appearance for Gloucester, overtaking Peter Buxton in the process. Bath: Watson; Rokoduguni, Joseph, Eastmond, Banahan; Ford, Stringer; James, Webber, Perenise; Hooper (capt), Attwood; Garvey, Louw, Fearns. Replacements: Batty, Catt, Orlandi, Spencer, Fa'osiliva, Roberts, Henson, Agulla. Gloucester: Cook; Simpson-Daniel, Tindall, Mills, May; Burns, Cowan; Murphy, Dawidiuk, Harden; Stooke, Hudson; Savage (capt), Kvesic, Kalamafoni.
