Match Commentary

80'Thanks for your company again tonight. The All Blacks were just far too good while the Wallabies must go back to the drawing board once again.
80'That's fulltime at Eden Park as the All Blacks record a 40-12 win. What a game from Beauden Barrett, who equals Greg Cornelsen's record of four tries in a Bledisloe Cup game.
80'+140-12 End of second half
79'No try All Blacks. The hosts are denied a final five-pointer as the TMO overturns a try to Waisake Naholo.
73'Knock on Australia. David Pocock spills a simple pass, but you can't blame the Wallabies No.8 as he has put in another big shift in a beaten team.

69'But they can't deny him a second time! Beauden Barrett has his fourth try without a shadow of a doubt as they break from deep inside their own half through Damian McKenzie. The replacement then finds Ben Smith who throws the final pass to Beauden Barrett for his fourth.
69'40-12 Try - Beauden Barrett , New Zealand
67'Hang on, it's been overturned by the TMO. Ardie Savea is ruled to have knocked on in tackling Will Genia.
67'Try time New Zealand. Beauden Barrett has four tries! Again, it comes from turnover ball, a great chase from Ardie Savea pressures Will Genia into a mistake and before you know it, Barrett is sliding into the corner!

67'Substitute on - Damian McKenzie , New Zealand
65'Penalty Australia. The All Blacks are pinged at the scrum.

62'33-12 Try - Beauden Barrett , New Zealand
61'Try time New Zealand. It's that man again, Beauden Barrett. The All Blacks No.10 has a hat trick as he claps on the gas, and splits two Wallabies defenders to run 40 metres and score under the sticks. That's game over now for sure.
58'Penalty New Zealand. Wayne Barnes pings Michael Hooper for playing the halfback, the All Blacks unable to use a long advantage. Beauden Barrett kicks to touch about 30 metres out from the Wallabies' line.

55'Try time Australia. The Wallabies jag a try against the run of play as Bernard Foley slips an Aaron Smith and makes a break; Reece Hodge then works incredibly hard in support to get up and take the pass to slide over 20 metres to the left of the posts.
55'28-12 Try - Reece Hodge , Australia
53'Scrum Australia. The All Blacks look to put on a set move but it is disrupted by Koroibete. Jordie Barrett then runs into his own man, giving Australia a scrum.

51'Bernard Foley denies Jordie Barrett a try in the corner, after the All Blacks very nearly sting the Wallabies on the counter again. A knock-on from the visitors, and the world champions simply move upfield with ease. .
49'28-7 Conversion - Beauden Barrett , New Zealand
48'Try time All Blacks. Liam Squire gallops in under the posts off a lovely short ball from Brodie Retallick. Again, it was another excellent buildup from the All Blacks, they look far more organised in attack so far this half. A long way back for Australia from here.
48'26-7 Try - Liam Squire , New Zealand
47'Penalty New Zealand. The All Blacks get a relieving scrum penalty and clear just short of halfway.
46'Knock-on Australia. Brodie Retallick does the damage as he works his way through the maul and disrupts the ball at the back. The Wallabies simply have to use that ball much quicker.
45'The Wallabies will have a great attacking opportunity as a Beauden Barrett cross-kick doesn't sit up for Ben Smith.
44'21-7 Conversion - Beauden Barrett , New Zealand
43'Try time All Blacks! It's the perfect start for Neqw Zealand after the break as Joe Moody crashes over next to the posts. It was a patient build from the lineout, with Aaron Smith directing the play perfectly. Eventually, the pressure told and Moody hit a nice angle to power over.
43'19-7 Try - Joe Moody , New Zealand
41'We're back underway at Eden Park as Beauden Barrett kicks off deep into the Wallabies' territory. Will Genia immediately responds down field, but doesn't find touch. Wayne Barnes then penalises Allan Alaalatoa for a tackle off the ball.
41'+114-7 End of first half
40'
40'Halftime. The Wallabies get one last crack to attack before halftime, but a promising buildup ends in a Koroibete forward pass. It was a pretty even first 40, with Beauden Barrett's second try proving the difference at the break. It is certainly game on, though.
40'14-7 Start of second half
39'14-7 Conversion - Beauden Barrett , New Zealand
38'12-7 Try - Beauden Barrett , New Zealand
37'Try time All Blacks. Just when it looked like Australia were building something, Kurtley Beale knocks on and New Zealand go 75 metres to score. Ben Smith led the counterattack, with Beauden Barrett finishing it off. The fly-half just had to catch a Aaron Smith pass and fall over the line after Jack Goodhue had been tackled just inches short.
35'Penalty Australia. The Wallabies survive a persistent All Blacks raid, before David Pocock wins a penalty for holding on at the breakdown. New Zealand continue to look a little disjointed in attack.
32'The All Blacks can't break the Wallabies down after the visitors clear from the kick-off, Beauden Barrett eventually opting for the grubber into touch.
30'Bernard Foley adds the extras and we're all locked up at Eden Park. The Wallabies simply had to get something from that attacking raid, and they did.
30'7-7 Conversion - Bernard Foley , Australia

29'7-5 Try - Will Genia , Australia

26'Penalty Australia. The All Blacks are penalised at the scrum, in a major change from last week. The Wallabies opt for another scrum.
23'Penalty Australia. A brilliant chase from Marika Koroibete put the Wallabies on attack, only for Aaron Smith to get back and save the day for New Zealand. The Wallabies win back possession though and win a penalty beneath the stick; the visitors opt for the scrum.
21'Scrum Australia. The All Blacks aren't quite clicking in attack either as they spill a simple pass after just a couple of phases. No one really has any momentum at this point.
19'Penalty New Zealand. Wayne Barnes pings Australia for another overly-aggressive cleanout, robbing the Wallabies of what was looking like a decent attacking raid. Beauden Barrett clears down beyond halfway.
18'Penalty Australia. Jack Goodhue attempts to bring the ball back from a Wallabies clearing kick, but the centre is indecisive and runs behind Jordie Barrett. Australia kick to touch via Reece Hodge, taking play just outside the All Blacks' 22.
17'Penalty New Zealand. The Wallabies kick in behind the All Blacks and chase through, but Bernard Foley doesn't allow Jordie Barrett to play the ball and is immediately pinged by Wayne Barnes.
15'Dane Haylett-Petty makes a break through the heart of the All Blacks but then undoes that good work with a cleanout that goes too far. Penalty All Blacks.
14'7-0 Conversion - Beauden Barrett , New Zealand
13'Try time New Zealand! Beauden Barrett scoots through a yawning gap after a wonderful All Blacks counter. It all started via a brilliant Ben Smith high-ball take, and finished a few phases later with Barrett hitting a perfect pass from Aaron Smith.
13'5-0 Try - Beauden Barrett , New Zealand
12'The All Blacks' attack comes to nothing as Beauden Barrett knocks on. Marika Koroibete immediately kicks down field but the Wallabies' chase isn't up to the task.
10'Penalty New Zealand. David Pocock is pinged for no clear release, which allows Beauden Barrett to find tough about 25 metres out from the Wallabies' line. This will be a test for the Wallabies' defensive line.
9'After a decent run of possession, Kurtley Beale kicks out on the full. The Wallabies shifted from side to side, but couldn't break through New Zealand's defensive line.
7'Penalty Australia. The Wallabies are able to clear to touch after Wayne Barnes pings Liam Squire for not rolling away.
6'The All Blacks clear comfortably after Brodie Retallick rips the ball from Lukhan Tui far too easily. The All Blacks then steal the Wallabies' first lineout, and kick deep into their 22.
4'Forward pass New Zealand. The All Blacks look to attack from the scrum, but Jack Goodhue's long cutout pass floats forward. Scrum Australia, 30 metres out from the All Blacks' line.
3'Would you believe it, the Wallabies get up and steal the All Blacks' first lineout! Australia can't capitalise however, as Reece Hodge spills a pass and is ruled to have knocked on. The conditions have actually deteriorated a bit, it has become a little greasy.
2'We're underway in Auckland as the Wallabies kick off deep into the New Zealand half. Aaron Smith goes to clear from the first ruck but is charged down by Adam Coleman; Beauden Barrett scampers back to clean up and clears nicely. The two teams trade clearing kicks before the All Blacks knock-on, and Marika Koroibete is taken into touch.
1'Haka done, we're set for kick-off! Enjoy!

1'Owen Franks gets a huge ovation as he leads the All Blacks out to mark his 100th Test. What a servant Franks has been for New Zealand rugby. With both teams out on the field, it's time for the anthems and then, of course, the haka.
1'Just going through the changes now; for the All Blacks, that's Jordie Barrett in at fullback with Ben Smith moving to the wing, while Ngani Laumape has replaced Ryan Crotty at inside centre. For the Wallabies, Allan Alaalatoa comes into the front-row while Dane Haylett-Petty shifts to fullback and Jack Maddocks starts on the wing.
1'Both teams have finished their warm-ups and headed back up the tunnel for some final instructions from coaches Steve Hansen and Michael Cheika. Conditions look to be pretty good in Auckland, so we might be in for a good game of open running rugby.

1'That's fulltime in the second trans-Tasman contest between the women, with the Black Ferns again coming out on top. New Zealand led 19-10 at halftime before pulling away in the second-half to defeat Australia 45-17. Congratulations to the New Zealand women.

1'Hello and welcome to our live commentary of Bledisloe II. Sam Bruce in the chair to take you through the next few hours when we'll see what kind of response, if any, the Wallabies can make after a torrid week of criticism. Much of that was sparked by our very own Greg Growden, and directed squarely at coach Michael Cheika. We've got a bit over an hour until kick-off, but stay with us as we bring you all the build-up from Eden Park.
