80'And now Tendai Mtawarira is presented with a golden cap for his 100th cap -- the sixth Springbok to do so and the eighth prop across world rugby. His kids are with him on the stage and wearing lovely golden gillets. A great moment all round. Put on the spot, his daughter tells the crowd: "I'm happy." She's not alone.
80'South Africa captain Siya Kolisi: "It was really tough. The most important thing was the people of Bloemfontein coming out to support us. I don't know what happened [with the slow start] but the most important thing was the character we showed to keep on fighting."

It's kicked long and Ford then gets into trouble and ships it to Brown who is no better off and eventually England concede a penalty. That was a mess from England. South Africa will take the points. They could all but seal it here.

The scrum rolls towards the line, England are all over the place, PENALTY TRY! That was desperate stuff in defence from England and they're in deep trouble now. This series is getting away from them.

What a great Test series this has been so far. Can South Africa seal it in the second half?

39'Yep, it's easy. What a kick. It sails gloriously through the posts and England's decision not to take points a couple of minutes ago has really backfired. They trail, and another double-digit lead in South Africa has evaporated before halftime.

37'Another England penalty conceded - this time for not releasing the ball. South Africa have survived and now might even look to take the lead. Pollard is 10 metres inside his own half, but at altitude he's going to have a dig at the posts. It's not as far as Daly's 60 metre effort last weekend, this one is 49 metres. Easy, right?
36'England take the lineout rather than a shot at the posts, and they've made good progress towards the South Africa line. But Mako Vunipola turns it over! The gamble hasn't paid off and De Klerk boots it deep into touch. De Klerk was also the man who disrupted Mako enough to knock on.

De Klerk looks as though he was going to pass it, but the crowd goes wild as Mtawarira nearly breaks through. He's brought down but they can't stop Duane Vermeulen! TRY SOUTH AFRICA! That was epic.

20'FIGHT! No sooner have England conceded a penalty at their own scrum than Faf de Klerk is being told to calm down in no uncertain terms by a group of white shirts. Kolisi ends up pulling at Mike Brown, there's three or four mini-rucks going on. Referee Poite knows it's all much of a nothingness and tells both captains to get their men to calm down. Silly stuff all round. "Take on me" by A-Ha plays over the stadium PA. Ho-ho.
19'And now England have turned them over, it will be England's put-in at the scrum. Every mini-win for the forwards is being greeted with almighty roars by the English pack, they know they have a hugely important role to play in this match after last week's debacle.
18'Itoje penalised for disrupting the lineout. Farrell goes to referee to complain about a South African asking for Itoje to be yellow carded. "The non-captain can't be coming to you and asking for a card. That's wrong," says Farrell. "Thank you for your support," replies referee Poite.
17'The Springboks are rolling. A great push in the maul from their pack. A penalty is pending. England are scrambling. Two penalties against England now. The maul goes down and South Africa will try again from a lineout, having opted to boot the penalty to touch.

7'It's taking some time to get the scrum right, with referee Romain Poite being very particular about how this should work. And now the Springboks are penalised as the scrum collapses at the second attempt. They look perplexed, while Joe Launchbury hollers his approval of the pack he has come back into for this match. Important marker there for England.
6'Good attack from South Africa down the left is snuffed out by Mike Brown, then England look like they are away only for Farrell to have flung a forward pass to Elliot Daly on their left. Expansive play from both sides.

Great charge forward by the centre but he is brilliantly tap-tackled with just the green grass of the England half between him and the try line. Wonderful covering tackle by Owen Farrell. 3'High crossfield kick from George Ford is intended for Jonny May, and Willie Le Roux is beaten to it in the air by Jonny May. It was knocked on by the England wing though, and South Africa have the put-in.
2'Very slick England lineout, and they're clearly keen to make a fast start as well. Faf de Klerk scrambles back to shovel a kick back into play as it tumbles near to touch, and Handre Pollard boots it into touch. Attacking chance for England on the edge of the Springbok 22.

1'Tendai Mtawarira is sharing this moment with his two kids, daughter Talumba and son Wangu. They are proudly standing next to their father during the anthem -- a raucous rendition it is too -- but Beast is the proudest of all. What a great moment.
1'By contrast, there's a slight pensiveness to England as they sing the anthem. They know they need a performance here to alleviate some of the pressure that is building on them and their coach.
1'There's a verve to this Springboks team that had been sadly lacking in recent years. Whether that's Rassie Erasmus, or Siya Kolisi, or simply that they won last week, who knows. But it's a visibly excited South Africa that has taken the field amid fireworks and green smoke.

1'Around ten minutes to go until kick-off. The teams have headed for the tunnel after warm-ups and should not be too far away from emerging for the anthems.
1'England's preparations were thrown off slightly this morning when a fire alarm went off in their hotel. Asked about it on TV before the match, Eddie Jones says: "It's all part of touring in South Africa." Tongue firmly in cheek there from the coach.
1'There is also a recall for fit-again Joe Launchbury, who replaces Nick Isiekwe in the starting line-up. Isiekwe was hooked by Eddie Jones after just 36 minutes of chaotic rugby last weekend.
1'For England, it is their pack and bench that spark the most intrigue. Brad Shields -- the New Zealand-born back row -- makes his first start after making a debut off the bench last week, and it is former England captain Chris Robshaw who makes way, dropping out of the matchday 23 entirely.
1'Elsewhere in the Springboks XV, Pieter-Steph du Toit comes in having been on the bench for the first Test, and he replaces Jean-Luc du Preez. At tight-head, Frans Malherbe starts ahead of Wilco Louw.
1'It's also a special day for Springbok captain Siya Kolisi. Last Saturday he became the first black South African to captain the side -- and his side won in fine style. This weekend? It's his 27th birthday today.
1'It will be a special day for Tendai Mtawarira. The 32-year-old nicknamed 'Beast' will play his 100th Test match, with coach Rassie Erasmus hailing him in his pre-match TV interview.

"We did speak a lot about that," said Erasmus. "It is a big thing, we firstly wanted to acknowledge it with a fast start but we have to mark it with a win - that's the best tribute we could pay to Beast."
