The Springboks suffered another record defeat during Allister Coetzee's tenure. KweséESPN rates performance of the starting Boks following their horror show against Ireland in Dublin.

Tendai Mtawarira 5/10: Made a few tasty hits on defence, but suffered in the scrums and didn't make an impact with ball in hand as well.

Malcolm Marx 6: Had a few strong runs and got over the advantage line on quite a few occasions. Won a penalty at the breakdown.

Coenie Oosthuizen: Went off in the second minute of the match with what looked like a serious knee injury.

Wilco Louw 5: Wasn't his powerful self when he came on to replace Oosthuizen. Had some good runs and worked hard on defence.

Eben Etzebeth 5: Had a couple of good runs, but there is some concern about his captaincy. The team needed quality leadership at crucial moments, but it never arrived.

Lood de Jager 5: Put himself about the park, and dis his job in the tight-loose and at lineout time. He was good without being spectacular.

Siya Kolisi 4: The Stormers captain played his worst Test of the year. Was anonymous as an opensider and passed a ball into touch when the Boks were on attack.

Pieter-Steph du Toit 6: The man tried his heart out throughout. Made a lot of carries and a lot of tackles. However, he didn't make enough of an impact with ball in hand.

Francois Louw 5: The Boks need a big ball carrier at No 8 to give them momentum off the back of the scrum. Louw is an excellent opensider and doesn't look comfortable in this position at the moment.

Ross Cronje 4: He still takes too many steps before passing the ball, and his boxing kicking was terrible. And what is that thing he does before kicking???

Elton Jantjies 4: Jantjies doesn't look like the same person who had such a great Super Rugby campaign and June Tests. Not dictating the game, and he could find himself dropped for the first time this year.

Courtnall Skosan 4: Spilled a high ball that led to Ireland's first try. Didn't have a lot chances on attack and ended up chasing a lot of aimless kicks.

Damian de Allende 3: What has happened to this guy? Once upon a time he was brilliant footballer who could break tackles and offload. Now he is kicking the ball away when his team has a three-on-one overlap.

Jesse Kriel 4: Lots of pace, power and energy, but absolutely no rugby sense. Like his centre partner, he seems to be playing with blinkers at the moment.

Dillyn Leyds 5: Had one good run to evade a tackle in the first half, but didn't make an impact with ball in hand otherwise. It didn't help that he has guys who can't identify space on his inside.

Andries Coetzee 4: Lots of industry, but no end result. The Boks need player to spark something. Coetzee is unfortunately not that player.
