Arsene Wenger added to his vast collection of trophies and honours this week after being presented with a lifetime achievement award by the League Manager's Association (LMA).
The former Arsenal boss was recognised for his "remarkable career in football management" at the LMA President's Dinner at Wembley on Thursday evening.

The Frenchman was presented with his award by England manager Gareth Southgate and accepted it with all the grace and good humour we've come to expect.
"Since I don't compete any more, I get a trophy every week," Wenger joked on stage. "How stupid was I not to understand that earlier?"
Having somewhat reluctantly resigned his post at the end of last season, the 68-year-old left Arsenal after 22 years of distinguished service, during which he won three Premier League titles and seven FA Cups.
He also won one league title and a Coupe de France while in charge of Monaco before moving on to Japan and winning two domestic cups during his brief stint with Nagoya Grampus Eight.

However, despite his current hiatus from the hectic world of football management, the silverware and accolades have continued to roll in for Wenger.
Indeed, before the LMA award, he was bestowed with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the inaugural global Leaders Sports Awards back in October.

Wenger was then named Knight Grand Commander of the Humane Order of African Redemption by Liberia president George Weah for his services to the development of African football over the years -- Liberia's highest national award.
Crikey, if his current hit rate is maintained then it should take roughly 18 months for Wenger's post-Arsenal trophy haul to eclipse the tally he amassed across his entire football career.
Time to start thinking about extending that cabinet.
