Zlatan Ibrahimovic has unfinished business with LA Galaxy in MLS

A combination of LA Galaxy failing to make the playoffs and some of his former clubs enduring tough times led to speculation that Zlatan Ibrahimovic had kicked his last ball in MLS.

On Monday, though, the man himself appeared to set the record straight about his plans for 2019.

And the announcement, which features some voices familiar to ESPN FC, was as understated as you might expect ...

Ibrahimovic enjoyed personal success in his first season with the Galaxy -- 22 goals and 10 assists in 27 games saw him earn an MVP nomination -- but the five-time MLS Cup champion club failed to make the postseason after finishing seventh in the Western Conference.

No wonder he says he has unfinished business!
