          The transfer window for Europe's biggest clubs is open again. Transfer Talk has been scouring the world's media and setting our correspondents loose to see who could be heading to/out of your club this month.

          TOP STORY: Liverpool join pursuit of Hudson-Odoi

          Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi has been linked with a move to Bayern Munich for the past month, but the England under-19 international could yet move to a club closer to home.

          German outlet Bild reports that Premier League leaders Liverpool have entered the race to sign the 18-year-old, who is out of contract this summer.

          Despite Bayern confirming last week that they are in talks with Chelsea over singing Hudson-Odoi, Bild reports that Liverpool have made a late offer and have met with the player.

          Whether Hudson-Odoi is convinced that he would see any more of the first-team football he craves at Anfield or the Allianz Arena than he does at Stamford Bridge is likely to be the key to settling his future.

          23.18 GMT: Here's an interesting one...

          The Sun claims that Barcelona are keen to sign Argentine defender Nicolas Otamendi from Man City this January.

          Having recently signed Kevin-Prince Boateng and signed Ajax whiz kid Frenkie de Jong for next season, Barcelona are certainly not standing pat despite their lead in La Liga and place in the last-16 of the Champions League.

          After a standout season a year ago for the English champions, Otamendi, 30, has played just 10 times in the Premier League this campaign and has fallen further down the pecking order.

          With Vincent Kompany, Aymeric Laporte and John Stones ahead of him and rumours Pep Guardiola wants Ajax's Matthijs de Ligt, Otamendi looks to be expendable at the moment.

          Could Barca pounce for Lionel Messi's international teammate?

          22.40 GMT: In desperate need of some central midfield cover, PSG sound as if they are closing in one of their top targets.

          Sources have told ESPN FC that the French champions are close to agreeing a fee for Zenit Saint Petersburg midfielder Leandro Paredes.

          The fee is believed to be close to €50 million for the 24-year-old Brazilian, who will be welcomed with open arms in Paris given Marco Verratti's recent ankle injury and the ongoing saga surrounding Adrien Rabiot.

          Paredes, who previously enjoyed a four-year spell in Serie A with stops at Chievo, Roma and Empoli, is expected to sign a four-and-a-half year contract with the club, with a move expected to be finalised in the coming days.

          21.48 GMT: DONE DEAL -- With two goalkeepers injured in Wayne Hennessey and Vicente Guaita and following a horrible error from 39-year-old Julian Speroni, Crystal Palace have added a goalkeeper.

          The new Palace shot-stopper is a 21-year-old named Lucas Perri, who arrives in London on a six-month loan, with an option to buy from Sao Paulo.

          Due to Palace's pressing issues in goal, Perri could even be drafted in straight away this weekend as Palace host Spurs in the FA Cup 4th Round.

          21.06 GMT: Wolves are being linked with a move for Brazilian full-back Rogerio, according to Italian outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport, via Birmingham Live.

          The 21-year-old is currently playing on loan at Sassuolo from Juventus and is thought to be valued at around £15 million

          Wolves have spent lavishly since earning being promoted back to the Premier League, so if Rogeria is their guy don't expect money to be an obstacle.

          20.16 GMT: Arsenal have been heavily linked with Barcelona's Denis Suarez, Atletico Madrid's Gelson Martins and Manchester United's Eric Bailly in recent weeks. Two new targets have emerged, though, including another Man United player!

          Juan Mata, who is out of contract at the end of the season, is the new Man United player linked, The Mirror naming the Gunners, Juventus, Barcelona and PSG as clubs that could have interest in the Spanish playmaker.

          Mata, who turns 31 in April, previously played under Arsenal boss Unai Emery at Valencia and Arsenal's current lack of finances means a free transfer would have appeal.

          The other target for the Gunners, according to French outlet L'Equipe, is young PSG midfielder Christopher Nkunku. The 21-year-old is blocked for playing time at star-studded PSG and is keen to be loaned out in January in search of more playing time. With talks between Arsenal and Barcelona over the transfer Denis Suarez reportedly having broken down, Nkunku could be Plan B for Emery and Co. at the Emirates.

          19.31 GMT: With contract extension talks ongoing between Anthony Martial and Manchester United, sources have told ESPN FC's Mark Ogden that Sevilla are also interested in signing the Frenchman.

          Martial, who seemed to be perpetually in and out of favour with Jose Mourinho, has been a regular under new manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and is reportedly now much happier at United.

          That said, the 23-year-old's long-term future remains unresolved and Sevilla, who currently hold a slight edge on fourth spot in La Liga, would love to add Martial to boost their Champions League hopes.

          18.47 GMT: Has the clock already struck midnight on Thierry Henry's time at Monaco?

          Paraphrasing a statement released by the club in French, Henry's duties as first-team coach have been suspended while they make a final decision on his future. The Arsenal legend has won just four of the 20 games he has been in charge for and with Monaco second-bottom and three points adrift, Henry looks set to get the sack.

          Early reports indicate that Leonardo Jardim -- who was sacked by Monaco in October! -- is a candidate to return to the job. What a year it has been in the principality...

          18.01 GMT: Arsenal signed Bernd Leno in the summer to be their goalkeeper of the future. Six months later -- and with Petr Cech announcing he is retiring at the end of the season -- the club are being linked with another young goalkeeper according to Sky Italy.

          That goalkeeper is none other than Emil Audero. The 22-year-old backstop is excelling this season at Sampdoria this season while on loan from Juventus, appearing in 20 games for Samp and registering seven clean sheets.

          The Indonesia-born keeper is an Italy Under-21 international and would initially provide Arsenal a replacement for Cech and maybe someone who down the line could push Leno for the starting job.

          17.15 GMT: DONE DEAL -- Bayern Munich have announced they have signed American youngster Chris Richards from FC Dallas on a permanent deal.

          The Bundesliga is quickly becoming the home for young American talents with Christian Pulisic, Weston McKennie and Josh Sargent all thriving there and Tyler Adams recently having joined RB Leipzig.

          Richards, 18, has been on loan with the Under-19s but now the defender has signed a four-and-a-half-year contract with the German champions.

          The youngster seems over the moon about his move telling Bayern's website "I've always dreamed of playing at a big club in Europe. "Now I'm at one of the top teams and am really happy."

          16.04 GMT: Levante could offer Timothy Fosu-Mensah an escape route from Fulham, sources have confirmed to ESPN FC they are considering signing the Manchester United man on loan.

          Fosu-Mensah joined the Cottagers on a season-long in the summer, but does not appear to be part of boss Claudio Ranieri's plans.

          15.43 GMT: Another lesser-known sibling appears to be on the move today, with Corriere dello Sport reporting Antonio Donnarumma -- older brother of Gianluigi -- has agreed to join Olympiakos.

          15.19 GMT: Inter Milan are considering a move for either Manchester United's Matteo Darmian or Southampton's Cedric Soares in the January transfer window, a source close to the club has told ESPN FC.

          The Nerazzurri are looking to provide competition for full-back Sime Vrsaljko and both the former Torino defender -- who was recently being linked with a move to Inter's Serie A rivals Juventus -- and the former Sporting Lisbon defender are under observation.

          Sources have told ESPN FC that initial enquiries have already been made about both targets.

          14.57 GMT: DONE DEAL! MLS club Atlanta United have completed the signing of Gonzalo 'Pity' Martinez from Copa Libertadores champions River Plate.

          The 25-year-old attacking midfielder, recently crowned South American Player of they Year, will officially join Frank de Boer's side once he gets international clearance.

          14.42 GMT: Sky Sport Italia are reporting that Newcastle have completed a deal for Lukaku -- Jordan Lukaku, the Lazio left-back, that is.

          14.29 GMT: Japan international Takashi Inui has completed a switch from Real Betis to fellow La Liga side Alaves on loan for the remainder of the season, joining the Basque side's unexpected push for qualification for European football.

          14.08 GMT: Paris Saint-Germain target Allan trained separately from his Napoli teammates today it is being reported. However, Radio KissKissNapoli claim this is down to a back issue.

          13.45 GMT: AC Milan's new forward Krzysztof Piatek has been handed the No. 19 shirt, because the No. 9 "has to be earned," director Leonardo said during the Poland international's unveiling.

          Piatek joined Milan from Genoa as a replacement for Gonzalo Higuain, who left for Chelsea, but has not taken the shirt number vacated by the ex-Real Madrid man.

          "He wanted the No. 9 jersey but we think it has to be earned so we decided to give him the No. 19 jersey instead," Leonardo said.

          13.18 GMT: Chelsea's Victor Moses has travelled to Turkey to finalise a loan move to Fenerbahce, sources have told ESPN FC.

          Moses, 28, flew to Istanbul on Wednesday and is expected to join Fenerbahce until the end of the season after falling out of Maurizio Sarri's first-team plans.

          12.55 GMT: A report in France Football suggests Tottenham are stepping up their interest in PSG's Adrien Rabiot.

          12.28 GMT: Boca Juniors defender Leonardo Jara has confirmed he will join D.C. United on a season-long loan.

          "I am leaving on loan and I will return next season [to Boca] to try to have a chance of regular playing time," Jara told TyC Sports. "For me it was a dream to play for Boca and I really enjoyed it."

          Jara, who joined Boca in January 2016, signed a contract extension with the Argentinian giants before accepting to go on loan to MLS

          12.11 GMT: PSG have revisited their interest in Bayern Munich's Renato Sanches from last summer, according to RMC, with time running out to bring in midfield reinforcements this month.

          An injury to Marco Verratti as well as the impending exit of Adrien Rabiot has sped up proceedings.

          11.46 GMT: Middlesbrough have completed the signing of John Obi Mikel.

          The Nigeria captain had most recently been in China with Tianjin TEDA. Mikel is a two-time Premier League winner, while he also has a Champions League medal from his time at Chelsea.

          11.23 GMT: Barcelona's decision to sign Frenkie de Jong from Ajax for €75m will have some serious effects on the squad, according to AS.

          It is being reported that Barca will now need to make up that money in the transfer market, and that means big-money sales in the summer transfer window.

          The report explains Philippe Coutinho, Samuel Umtiti and Ivan Rakitic are among the candidates who could leave the club, with De Jong having been promised a starting role.

          11.02 GMT: Feyenoord have confirmed Giovanni van Bronckhorst will leave his position as manager at the end of the season.

          As a player, he won a Premier League and FA Cup double with Arsenal, as well as two La Liga titles and the Champions League at Barcelona -- but we're not suggesting anything.

          10.41 GMT: Maurizio Sarri said that Alvaro Morata forced Chelsea into the January transfer market for a new striker by saying that he wanted to leave the club.

          Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain arrived in England on Wednesday to complete an initial six-month loan move to replace Morata, who is expected to join Atletico Madrid on loan until the end of the season with an option to make the move permanent next summer.

          10.18 GMT: Brescia midfielder Sandro Tonali, who has been labelled in some quarters as "the new Andrea Pirlo," is the subject of interest among the biggest teams in Italy.

          But it appears he is now on the radar of the Premier League leaders as well as some of Serie A's best.

          "Yes, Roma have asked me about Tonali," Brescia owner Massimo Cellino told reporters. "I want to keep the kid [Tonali] for as long as possible.

          "Is he ready? I don't know, he's 18 and, while he may not have done too much, Liverpool have also been in contact."

          09.56 GMT: AS Monaco appear to have won the race to sign Atletico Madrid winger Gelson Martins on loan until the end of the season.

          Martins was linked with Newcastle and Arsenal, but Cadena Cope report that the Portugal international will say goodbye to his Atletico teammates on Thursday before travelling to Monaco.

          Martins, who has not scored in eight league appearances for Atletico -- just one as a starter -- is eager to leave this month in search of regular playing time. Monaco will reportedly pay Atletico €5m to land the 23-year-old, who is tied to the Spanish outfit until June 2023.

          Martins, who earns €3m net per season, signed for Atletico last summer from Sporting Club de Portugal and has played a total of 446 minutes for Atletico.

          09.30 GMT: Frenkie de Jong has been talking to Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf about his transfer to Barcelona, which was announced last night and will happen in the summer.

          "PSG would have been an excellent choice," the midfielder said. "They did everything to get me. There is a good coach and PSG possess a young and talented team. Ligue 1 might be a little less strong, but the advantage of a transfer to PSG would have been that it was the greatest guarantee of playing time for me to develop.

          "When Barcelona's firmed up their interest, at the end of last week, I chose to follow my dream. All of this despite the fact that I have not yet spoken with the coach [Ernesto Valverde]. I am not there yet. The fact that I did not go for PSG is purely because it is Barca."

          09.00 GMT: Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says he is "not surprised" that Arsenal want Eric Bailly.

          The defender has been linked with a loan move to the Emirates in the build up to Manchester United's FA Cup tie there on Friday night.

          Solskjaer has preferred a centre-back pairing of Phil Jones and Victor Lindelof since taking over from Jose Mourinho and the Norwegian says the reports about Bailly have not come as a shock.

          "I'm not surprised if they do, put it that way," Solskjaer told a news conference on Thursday. "It's just one of those things. It's just speculation and it's not a big surprise."

          08.40 GMT: Barcelona have threatened Denis Suarez that they will leave him out of the team if he does not sign a new contract or accept an offer from Sevilla or Betis, according to Cadena SER.

          The 25-year-old midfielder is tied to Barca until June 2020 and negotiations over a new contract are reportedly at a stalemate. Suarez wants to join Arsenal on loan and Barca would only accept that if the player signs a one-year contract extension.

          Both Real Betis and Sevilla are keen to acquire the player on a permanent transfer this month and would be willing to pay Barca €20m. However, the Spaniard is keen to move to the Premier League.

          Suarez has scored four goals in nine appearances for Barca but has yet to start in La Liga for the Catalan giants.

          PAPER TALK (by Frank Smith, Football Whispers): Skriniar dismisses talk of United move

          Manchester United look set to miss out on one of their transfer targets, as €100 million-rated Milan Skriniar has declared he will not be leaving Inter Milan.

          The 23-year-old was one of the centre-backs United were eyeing up, but Thursday's back page of Tuttosport carries quotes from the Slovakia international claiming he will not be leaving the club any time soon.

          The ex-Sampdoria man says, "I'm staying," before adding that he is confident Inter will be successful moving forward after a few difficult years.

          Darmian set to depart Old Trafford

          There were reports in recent days claiming the move was off, but Corriere dello Sport believes Matteo Darmian is destined for Juventus.

          Darmian has found himself out of favour at Manchester United of late, and Juve and Inter Milan have been battling it out for his signature. Earlier this week it was reported both clubs had pulled out of the move due to United's asking price, which was in the region of €12m.

          But Corriere dello Sport's back page on Thursday says Juve are set to land the versatile Italy defender, who joined United in 2015.

          West Ham eye move for Italy international

          It wasn't that long ago that he was being linked with a move to some of the world's biggest clubs, but now striker Andrea Belotti is a target for West Ham United.

          When Belotti scored 28 goals in 38 games in all competitions during the 2016-17 campaign he was the talk of the town and was being eyed up by pretty much every European powerhouse. However, that form has dropped off considerably of late, with 13 goals in 35 games last season and then nine in 22 this time around.

          Still, that hasn't stopped admiring glances from West Ham, with Tuttosport claiming they are ready to "push forward" with a move for the 20-cap Italy international.

          Hammers also eyeing up another talented forward

          Belotti is not the only forward West Ham are keen on though, with Marko Arnautovic keen to depart. The Daily Mail claims they have gone back in for Maxi Gomez.

          The Hammers were sweet on the Uruguay international in the summer but reportedly balked at the asking price. But with Arnautovic linked with a big-money move to China, the Mail reports the nine-cap Uruguay forward is back on their radar.

          The 22-year-old has scored 27 goals in 58 games for Celta Vigo, and assisted on 10 more, since he signed from Defensor Sporting Club in 2017.

          Inter land Udinese's latest South American star

          Inter Milan are ready to spend big with the €35m signing of Udinese star Rodrigo de Paul, according to Corriere dello Sport.

          But the publication also understands that Inter will have to wait until July to land the Argentine, with the 24-year-old integral to Udinese's chances of staying up.

          De Paul has bagged six league goals and set up another three this season, which considering the Zebrette have scored only 17 means he has contributed to more than half of their Serie A goals this season.

          Corriere dello Sport claims a deal worth between €30m and €35m has already been struck between the clubs, though, regardless of which division the Pozzo-owned club ends up in.

          Football Whispers' transfer algorithm gives the likelihood of rumours happening a score out of 5.

          Victor Moses to Fenerbahce: 4.4

          The Chelsea wide man's departure was inevitable this month, it seemed, but at the start of January Fenerbahce seemed an unlikely destination. However, reports claim the Nigeria international has had a medical with the Turkish side ahead of a loan move.

          Leandro Paredes to PSG: 4.2

          Chelsea had been hopeful of signing the 24-year-old Argentine earlier this month, but it seems PSG have got there first with their €40m offer for the Zenit St. Petersburg midfielder.

          Gelson Martins to Monaco: 3.8

          Newcastle United were hoping they could lure Atletico Madrid winger Martins to the club on loan, but it appears as though Monaco have stolen a march when it comes to the 23-year-old Portugal international.

          Wilfried Zaha to Borussia Dortmund: 3.0

          Crystal Palace's talented winger is being eyed up by the German side a replacement for Chelsea-bound Christian Pulisic. Zaha won't come cheap, and Dortmund are said to be considering a club record €50m offer for the 26-year-old.
