Javier Pastore starred as Paris Saint-Germain controlled Lyon 4-1 to win the Trophee des Champions in Austria on Saturday.

The French Super Cup went to PSG for the fourth straight season following goals from Pastore, Lucas Moura, Hatem Ben Arfa and Layvin Kurzawa.

Lyon nearly took the lead inside four minutes, but Nabil Fekir's goal was ruled out for offside.

Five minutes later, Kurzawa's curling cross fell to Pastore to open the scoring at the far post.

Lyon star Alexandre Lacazette hit the post as he tried to level the score, but it was soon 2-0 when Lucas bundled home a Pastore pass in the 19th minute.

Angel Di Maria nearly added to the one-side scoreline as his long chipped attempt bounced off the crossbar.

And in the 34th minute Ben Arfa did make it 3-0 when he was given space in the box to turn and fire a hard shot into the top corner.

It was more of the same after the break as Pastore quickly took a free kick near the middle of the pitch to play in Kurzawa, who beat Lyon keeper Anthony Lopes in the 54th minute.

Maxwel Cornet nearly found a consolation goal for Lyon five minutes later, only for PSG keeper Kevin Trapp to push aside with a fine save.

Lyon had to wait until the 87th minute to break the PSG defence when Corentin Tolisso powered home a free header.
