Bell tolls for Falkirk's cup hopes

Inverness reached the semi-finals of the Irn-Bru Cup as Connor Bell's second-half goal earned them a 1-0 win over Championship rivals Falkirk.The Bairns dominated the early stages of the tie as Myles Hippolyte fired over from the edge of the area before seeing a header cleared off the line.Inverness started the second half on the front foot and a cross by Bell found Alex Cooper, but his header was tipped over the bar by Falkirk goalkeeper Robbie Thomson.The home side took the lead just before the hour as John Baird's flick-on found Bell at the back post and he fired into the top corner to put Inverness into the semi-finals.
