United set to stun City in Manchester Derby

EPL Round 12 - Manchester City vs. Manchester United (Monday, 3:30am AEDT)

The latest instalment of the Manchester Derby is set to be another riveting encounter in the early hours of Monday morning at Etihad Stadium.

Both sides are in form and if anything, the Red Devils will probably fancy their chances against their unbeaten rivals despite playing on the road.

A few weeks ago that comment would've sounded ridiculous, but United have started to find their feet this campaign and come into the game off the back of a handful of last-minute victories: Jose Mourinho's side has snatched wins against Newcastle United, Bournemouth and Juventus (in the UEFA Champions League) with last-minute goals after falling behind in the past fortnight.

Also giving them confidence will be the fact they won the last Manchester Derby at this ground after coming from 2-nil down.

While City are short and are entitled to be favourites, I can smell somewhat of an upset as the home side hasn't won this encounter in the past seven fixtures.

For mine, the Manchester United or Draw (double chance) betting option is the way to go at around the $3 mark.

Tip: Manchester United to win or draw against Manchester City at $3

NFL Week 10 - Chicago Bears vs. Detroit Lions (Monday 5am AEDT)

The Chicago Bears continue to surprise as the NFL enters the second half of the season and they will be desperate to keep the Minnesota Vikings at bay in the pursuit of the NFC North division crown with a victory against the Detroit Lions at Soldier Field.

The Bears could have taken the Buffalo Bills lightly last week in a potential 'trap game', but they easily prevailed 41-9 away from home. Led by their defence, the Bears sacked Bills quarterback Nathan Peterman four times and forced three interceptions; one of them returned for a touchdown. The Bears performed as an improving team should considering the Bills were led by a third-string quarterback who has now thrown 12 interceptions and only three touchdowns in his career.

After starting the season with consecutive losses, the Lions looked to have found their groove winning three of their next four including a home win over the New England Patriots. In the past week though, the Lions traded their top receiver, Golden Tate, to the Philadelphia Eagles before losing 24-9 away to the Vikings. Quarterback Matthew Stafford was sacked 10 times as he adjusted to playing without his best catcher since Calvin Johnson retired.

Considering the Bears are inside the top 10 for sacks and are facing a team that gave up 10 last week plus getting used to playing without Tate, Chicago should be far too good for Detroit at home.

Tip: Chicago to defeat Detroit by seven points or more at $1.85

NFL Week 10 - Indianapolis Colts vs. Jacksonville Jaguars (Monday 5am AEDT)

The Jacksonville Jaguars are simply running out of excuses this year after almost reaching last season's Super Bowl and they must beat the Indianapolis Colts at Lucas Oil Stadium on Monday morning to keep their playoff hopes alive.

The Jaguars started the season well with consecutive wins; the second against the New England Patriots. Since then, the Jaguars have lost four straight and five of their past six. Quarterback Blake Bortles has epitomised Jacksonville's inconsistent season. In their wins, Bortles has thrown seven touchdown passes and three interceptions. In their losses, Bortles has thrown three touchdowns and five interceptions.

Bortles will appreciate the return of running back Leonard Fournette, who has played in two of the Jaguars' three wins this season. Fournette is returning from a hamstring injury and hasn't played during Jacksonville's four-game losing streak. His presence will ease the burden on Bortles.

The Colts have the same record as Jacksonville (3-5), but they enter this clash with consecutive wins after suffering four straight losses. Quarterback Andrew Luck has returned from shoulder surgery with aplomb throwing 23 touchdown passes and eight interceptions. The cause for concern over the Colts' recent wins though is that they were against the Buffalo Bills and Oakland Raiders, who are a combined 3-14 this season.

Jacksonville are returning from a bye, have regained their top running back, and are facing a team that has beaten two poor sides recently. The Jaguars appeal as slight outsiders.

Tip: Jacksonville to upset Indianapolis at $2.20
