Trojans bow out quickly

As the No. 12 seed in the Pac-12 Tournament, a deep run wasn't expected from the USC Trojans. And as was the case all season, the Trojans simply couldn't find enough scoring on Wednesday, as they shot just 30 percent from the floor in a 55-40 loss to the UCLA Bruins.

David Wear led the way for UCLA with 10 points and 10 rebounds, while guard Lazeric Jones had a game-high 15 points.

USC kept it close through 20 minutes, holding UCLA to just 23-percent shooting in the first half as the Bruins clung to a 22-21 lead. But the Trojans authored yet another sub 20-point performance in the second half and couldn't match the interior play of the Bruins.

Freshman guard Byron Wesley led USC with 13 points and added seven assists, as the Trojans fell to 6-26 on the season and dropped their 10th in a row.
