Judy MacLeod will be named the new commissioner of Conference USA, sources told ESPN's Brett McMurphy on Monday.
MacLeod replaces former commissioner Britton Banowsky, who resigned to take a position with the College Football Playoff.
MacLeod, the conference's associate executive commissioner and chief operating officer since 2006, has been serving as the interim commissioner since Banowsky stepped down. She also was the athletic director at Tulsa from 1995 to 2005.
