Harvey-Clemons picks with heart

VALDOSTA, Ga. -- As the Georgia Bulldogs coaching staff and fans alike struggled to get some rest before Wednesday's much-anticipated national signing day, the top prospect in the Peach State, linebacker Josh Harvey-Clemons (Valdosta, Ga./Lowndes), also had some trouble getting some shuteye on the eve of his big decision.

At 9 a.m. ET today, the No.1 outside linebacker and No. 17 prospect in the ESPNU 150 was set to choose between Florida, Georgia, FSU and Miami live on ESPNU. Harvey-Clemons said, though, that his lack of sleep wasn't due to his struggling with a decision -- he was just anxious to let the Bulldog nation know where he intended to play

"I didn't get any sleep, really," Harvey-Clemons said. "I probably went to sleep at 3 something. I knew after I took my unofficial visit to Georgia in September that this was where I wanted to be for the next four years. I prayed about it, and a lot of people were trying to persuade me to go here or there, but I already had my mind made up. It felt like home, and it seemed like they want to win."
