8.36pm So, that's a wrap. Quite the statement win from India. From Miller, Ekanth and Chandan, goodnight!

No surprises about the Player of the Match... it's Harmanpreet Kaur. "Today was a very important game for us, and everyone who got a chance contributed. I always enjoy leading, I'm always in the game, and all the support from the staff and the players.

"I took my time and that partnership was important. After that I gave freedom to myself and backed myself. Whoever got the chance today gave us breakthroughs."

On Goswami: "I think so," she says about Lord's being her final game. "Lord's will be very special for us with Jhulan going to retire."

8.27pm Time for the presentations. Here's Amy Jones.

"Every loss is tough, they got away from us, Harm flicked a switch at the end there. We didn't get close enough, we needed big partnerships and matchwinning innings. She was finding the boundary everywhere, it was important to slow down, a big learning for the group, responding to moments like that. Everywhere we bowled it she was finding the boundary.

"Inexperience can bring about inconsistency, but such a good batter on such good form is a big challenge. But not all over, points on the line at Lord's. Missing the big names, they add a huge amount but it's given opportunities to others. The last game at Lord's is another opportunity for a younger side to step up. Last game of the season, a long season. You don't need any incentive [for Lord's]. What an occasion, and what a venue."

8.18pm So ends an extraordinarily comprehensive victory for India. Never mind that England strung it out at the end, Harmanpreet's ballistic onslaught in the first innings put this game beyond reasonable doubt, even if Danni Wyatt and Alice Capsey gave some hope of a fighting finish. Charlie Dean refused to go quietly, but a 88-run margin leaves little room for doubt about India's dominance.

They have won a series in England for the first time since 1999, and they've done it in emphatic style. And off the back of their Commonwealth Silver medal, they've demonstrated their growing pedigree on this protracted tour. For England, they've been shorn of a host of key names, Knight, Sciver and Brunt among them, and their kids have fought well in the circumstances. But their new-look bowling attack endured a chastening night. They'll learn from the experience.
