4.6 van Beek gets Taylor with an absolute ripper! Back of a length delivery that seems to start just outside off stump before curving back devilishly. Taylor's feet go nowhere and he has a stab at it, more in hope than anything else. Before his bat comes down, though, the ball breezes through and flattens off stump! 18/2
1.3 edged and taken! Modani departs for a duck! Full delivery in the channel that seems to leave the batter very late. Modani, thinking that the ball is full enough to drive, nibbles at it without a lot of footwork. The away movement takes the outside edge and nestles into the palms of first slip! 0/1
5.4 Mukkamalla bites the dust! Full delivery just outside off stump that pitches and nips back in sharply. Mukkamalla, perhaps confident after the drive off the last ball, has a waft again. This time, though, his bat face closes, leaving a gap between bat and ball. The ball zips through it and smashes into the stumps! 20/3
13.6 chops it on! Back of a length delivery outside off stump that might have just nipped back in a shade. Jones, knowing that the fielder is now in the deep, tries to punch it to collect a single. The inward movement, though, means that he gets a thick inside edge that leaves his stumps in an almighty mess! 46/4
22.2 deja vu, except this time it's given out down the leg side! This ball is dragged back a touch on the hips Gajanand goes to pull and gets healthy glove on this playing well away from his body. No doubt he's made contact with this and an easy leg side take by Edwards as well as an easy decision for the umpire. The switch to Vikramjit pays off after just two balls. 79/5
45.1 offcutter lands as a length ball on middle sits up to whack over the leg side, but Jahangir hits this too flat and picks out deep midwicket five yards in from the rope. van Beek takes a simple catch at head height. 180/8
26.1 short on sixth stump, Nisarg rocks back to pull but miscues this badly and top edges this floating gently behind the bowler. Mid-on jogs across into the area of mid-off and takes this comfortably five yards inside the ring. 88/6
42.4 superb return catch! Full on fourth stump, Jessy creams a drive flat to Dutt at knee height and the tall spinner reaches down in front of his left knee to pluck it like it was no big deal. It came back very hot and he took it ice cool. 174/7

3.1 Ali Khan gets Vikramjit! Full delivery outside off stump. Vikramjit plants his front foot and drives at it. He is not quite to the pitch of the ball, though, and hits it uppishly towards the bowler, who flings out his right palm and after a bit of a juggle, holds onto the chance! Ali Khan then brings out a tape from his pocket, plasters it over his mouth and does the shush celebration! 17/1
13.1 huge appeal and given this time! Full delivery slanted into middle and off stump. O'Dowd is caught on the crease and tries to flick it away. Misses a straight delivery and gets rapped right in front of middle. The umpire raises his finger and Jessy is absolutely pumped! 63/2
15.1 Barresi departs! Length delivery that pitches in the channel and decks back in sharply. Barresi, like O'Dowd, does not move his feet a lot and goes at it with his hands. The ball breezes past the inside edge and pins him on the back leg. Jessy appeals and the umpire raises his finger! USA are inching their way back into this contest! 68/3
21.2 length ball on the body, de Leede goes to heave this over the leg side but skies a top edge straight up. Jahangir shuffles just a few paces to his right and takes a catch with the gloves in the region of silly point. 83/4
34.5 Nidamanuru perishes! Tossed up nicely on a length on middle and off stump and Nidamanuru tries to smash it over cow corner. He does not get to the pitch of the ball, though, and gets a top edge that spoons up. Substitute fielder Paradkar settles under it at short fine leg and completes the catch! 155/5
