Dhananjaya was tempted to play the scoop because he saw fine leg was in, but failed to get underneath the back-of-the-hand slower delivery which pitched on leg and hit leg stump once it beat the bat. Poor stroke under the circumstances, considering he would had to force the pace to that delivery 45/3

It was short outside off, sitting up nicely for Mendis to play the pull, which he does so very well. He fetched it from outside off and hit it straight down the throat of the man at deep midwicket. What a pity, the entertainment is over 76/4

Perera's wild swing results in a leading edge which carries to short third man. A splendid but of bowling, drew Perera into the big stroke with some flight but pulled the length back just enough to ensure Perera doesn't get close 94/5
