Five under-the-radar prospects earning Major League playing time

No matter how many games you attend in person or catch on television or steaming, how many sources you speak to and how much research you do, there are always surprises. Each year prospect evaluators spill thousands of words and spent countless hours into curating lists. And without fail there are a handful of rookies each season that pop on the scene that were never on the radar or far enough from it that they did not register on the prospect matrix.

For those unfamiliar with the matrix, Mike Shinoda is typically credited with coming up with the formula: 10% luck, 20% skill, 15% concentrated power of will and 55% bias against your favorite team and their prospects. When I ran this very proprietary report this morning, here are the names that came up as 404 Not Found errors. I would like to correct those errors by giving them some shine below.
