Here are some key stats to consider when looking ahead to the top La Liga matches this weekend before selecting your fantasy team.

Atlético Madrid vs. Levante

Atlético are on a 15-game unbeaten streak in La Liga and stand as the club with the most home wins this season (7). Los Colchoneros only dropped points in one of their past seven league games at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium, a 1-1 draw against Barcelona. Levante only won one of their past eight league games (four draws, three losses), yet rank third in away goals this season.

Atlético won both of the two encounters with Levante in La Liga 2017-18 by a combined score of 8-0, with three goals by Antoine Griezmann, who scored in both matches. Griezmann is in great form recently, finding the net in each of his past four games while scoring five of Atlético's last eight league goals. That has launched the France international to second place in total fantasy points this season with 274, only behind Lionel Messi.

Barcelona vs. Eibar

La Liga leaders Barcelona won each of their past five league games, scoring 15 goals and allowing just one during the streak.

Barcelona have 130 shots on target this season, 26 more than any other team while Eibar has permitted 129 shots from their opponents this season, the fewest in La Liga. The Basque team has struggled to create as their only two goals in their past three games came from the penalty spot.

Barcelona won each of their eight all-time meetings in La Liga with Eibar and Tier 1 forward Lionel Messi scored 12 goals in seven career meetings against them. Messi currently has 399 goals in La Liga; he will try to become the first player to reach 400 in one of the top five European leagues.

Tier 2 midfielder Joan Jordán is the only Eibar player averaging more than 10 fantasy points per game (10.06) and even if he has not contributed with a goal or assist since November 4 against Alavés, he only trails Messi in fantasy points from chances created (39).

Real Betis vs. Real Madrid

After starting December with three consecutive La Liga wins, Real Madrid are winless in their last two games after a draw at Villarreal and an unexpected loss at home to Real Sociedad. Real Madrid have struggled all season but even more on the road, conceding 18 goals. Only La Liga's last place Huesca (23) allowed more away goals than the Whites have.

Each of the last two meetings between these teams at the Benito Villamarín Stadium produced at least seven goals: a 1-6 Madrid victory in 2016 and a festival of goals won by Real Madrid last season, 3-5.

Betis defenders Marc Bartra (28) and Aïssa Mandi (26.7) rank fourth and sixth respectively in fantasy points per 90 minutes among defenders with Mandi delivering 131.9 total points from completed passes, the most among all players.

Athletic Bilbao vs. Sevilla

After a bad start to the season with only one win in their first 14 games, Athletic Bilbao are unbeaten in their past four games, with two wins and two draws. On the other hand, Sevilla have won one of their past five matches.

Wissam Ben Yedder has scored or assisted in each of his past five league games with Sevilla (3 goals, 2 assists) and ranks third in total fantasy points since December among forwards (70.5 points).

Athletic's duo of Artiz Aduriz (2) and Iñaki Williams (3) have combined to score five of Athletic's seven league goals since November, and Williams contributed directly to both of his team's goals in last week's win at Celta with a goal and an assist.

Sevilla lost each of their last eight league visits to Athletic Bilbao since they last won there in 2009, with shutout losses in half of those games.
