In just his second playoff game for the Golden State Warriors after joining them as a free agent last summer, four-time All-Star center DeMarcus Cousins suffered an untimely injury to his left quadriceps in the early moments of Game 2 on Monday night. An MRI Tuesday confirmed a torn quadriceps that could end Cousins' postseason.

Without Cousins, Golden State will more closely resemble the team that won the last two NBA championships, a nice luxury to fall back on.

But will the Warriors miss Cousins' ability to be a difference-maker at some point this postseason? How much different will they be with Andrew Bogut and Kevon Looney as their primary centers?

And how does Cousins' injury affect his return to free agency?

Let's take a look.
