Last week we saw three golden point lotteries and a lot teams blow good chances to win games. The Rabbitohs suffered their first loss of the season leaving the Storm as the only undefeated team in the competition. They had their own scare as the Bulldogs showed that the best way to beat them is to avoid the arm wrestle and let the ball sing.
This week there are some great clashes on offer including the Tigers taking on the Broncos, the Cowboys hosting the Panthers, the Roosters taking on the Sharks and the Eels visiting the Raiders.

Verdict: The Broncos have started the season poorly by anyone's standards and new coach Anthony Seibold will be desperate to turn things around. How the Tigers managed to lose to the Panthers last week is a mystery that fans may never work out. They had enough chances to win the game dozen times, but somehow managed to let the Panthers back in. Coach Michael Maguire will work hard to ensure it doesn't happen again, but the Broncos at home SHOULD be good enough to take the points from the still shaken Tigers.

Verdict: The Titans are yet to record a win this year, going down last week to the very inconsistent Warriors. The Panthers had a miracle escape against the Tigers despite continuing to play some terrible football. Will the buzz of winning that game against the odds be enough to overcome the feeling that things aren't quite right at the club? This is the Titans' first home game since their opening round 21-0 loss to the Raiders, surely they will lift for this one with Tyrone Peachey facing the team that released him.

Verdict: The Cowboys were soundly beaten by the visiting Raiders last week, while the Storm survived a scare from the Bulldogs in Melbourne. Cameron Smith needs just two points to break the all-time points scoring record currently held by former Bulldogs winger Hazem El Masri. Smith should go well past the mark as the Storm continue their methodical, ruck-dominating, unbeaten run.

Verdict: The Rabbitohs were upset last week by the Sea Eagles in golden point while the Warriors found some form to beat the lowly Titans. Verdict: This is a traditionally passionate clash between two teams with a long history. Last week the Sea Eagles upset the Rabbitohs, but also lost star fullback Tom Trbojevic. The Knights were disappointing in their golden point loss to the Dragons. The Knights have to take the focus off which position Kalyn Ponga plays and find greater contributions from the rest of the team, particularly their forwards. At home in front of their passionate fans, they can't afford to lose this one to Manly.

Verdict: The Sharks were humbled last week by the Eels after Shaun Johnson was a late withdrawal from the team. The Roosters completely overpowered the Broncos with a brilliant display of precision football. The Sharks will be fired up for this one in front of a packed home crowd, but the premiers are really starting to find their groove.

Verdict: The Bulldogs turned a corner in the last two weeks, upsetting the Tigers and going very close to doing the same against the Storm. The Dragons won a dour encounter with the Knights last week without Gareth Widdop. The Bulldogs have lost pop Dylan Napa, but the Dragons have lost Korbin Sims. If the Bulldogs can continue to improve, playing expansive football while somehow completing plenty of sets, they could record their second victory for the season.

Verdict: This has the potential to be a great game with both teams willing to throw the ball around to utilise their exciting backlines. The Eels beat the Sharks well last week, while the Raiders travelled to Townsville and absolutely smacked the the Cowboys. In a real toss-of the-coin game, the Raiders should do enough to win at home.
