Boomers vs. Serbia preview

The Boomers pulled off a remarkable upset in their opening group game against France, but Serbia, hoping to emulate their 2014 World Cup form in Spain, where they finished runners-up to the United States are arguably every bit as tough.

Serbia will keep Australia's defenders honest with their ability to heat up from deep, and Boomers coach Andrej Lemanis will look to deploy full-court pressure through Matthew Dellavedova and Kevin Lisch. But the Boomers' hopes of another upset rest primarily on the shoulders of Andrew Bogut, and his ability to control the inside on both ends of the floor.

Keep an eye on the head-to-head battles between Bogut and Nikola Jokic, and Dellavedova and Milos Teodosic.
