Harlequins fly-half Ruaridh Jackson has agreed a return to Scotland with Glasgow Warriors.

Scotland international Jackson left the PRO14 side in 2014 to sign for Wasps, before arriving at the Twickenham Stoop last summer.

He was largely used in a back-up role during his time in the England, but the 29-year-old heads back north with no regrets.

"I have had a great experience playing in the Aviva Premiership for the last few years with two great clubs in Harlequins and Wasps," Jackson said in a statement released by Harlequins.

"My thanks go to everyone at Harlequins, I'm leaving with some great memories and friends; I wish them all the best for the coming season.

"The move back to Glasgow is a great chance for me to head back to play in a revamped PRO14 league. It is a step into both the known, and the unknown but I'm really excited for the challenge ahead."
