Scott Baldwin could make his first Ospreys appearance since being bitten by a lion against Saracens in the Champions Cup Saturday.

The Wales hooker has not featured for the PRO14 side following the incident, which occurred at a game park near Bloemfontein at the end of last month.

Baldwin, 29, revealed this week that he was fortunate not to lose his hand when he attempted to stroke the lion ahead of the Ospreys' game at the Cheetahs.

However, he has been cleared to train with his teammates this week and should he come through unscathed, then he could run out at Allianz Park against the European Champions.

The Ospreys kicked off their continental campaign with a 26-21 home defeat to Clermont last Sunday.
