Worcester Warriors have re-signed Queensland Reds fly-half Jono Lance ahead of the 2018-19 season.

Lance helped Worcester to four victories in his six Aviva Premiership appearances at the end of last year, a run that was crucial in lifting them clear of basement club London Irish.

Having suffered a broken hand he subsequently returned to Australia, and the Reds, ahead of the 2018 Super Rugby season but will head back to Sixways later this year on a two-year deal.

"Although I was only at Sixways for a couple of months, I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Worcester," Lance said in a statement.

"I'm fully focused on helping the Reds do well in this season's Super Rugby but I'm also hugely excited about coming back to Sixways in the summer.

"I made a lot of friends back in England and want to test myself in the Premiership against some of the best players in the world."
